Hello again, old friend. I am so glad to be clicking “upload” on two new pages today. I know, it’s been a minute!

While Ida and her friends have been investigating strange going’s-on, our creative team have been having our own adventures, including sudden career changes and international relocation! The good news is, we have a healthy backlog of pages ready to upload fortnightly (pre-scheduled!) so you won’t have another lull in the story for a while – promise!

Depicting a Victorian-era hospital took research and a lot of skill, but Camila absolutely nailed it. If you want to see how accurate she was, check out these images from the National Museum of Australia. Research plays a big part in the story and art of Heart of Millyera, and it is also the fun part!

Hello again. I am glad to be back with another page update and the awesome news (in case you missed it) that our own Jana Hoffmann was nominated recently for a Ledger Award for her self-published comic The Lonely Giant. So excited for Jana!

I am also happy to say that we have multiple page of Heart of Millyera coming in the next month—just as things are getting exciting—so please check back again soon and subscribe for email updates.

Hello! It’s great to be back and able to share this page before the end of what has been a hectic year for us. We can tell you that the outlook for 2022 is much brighter and we can’t wait to share even more with you. BUT for today, I hope you can delight in the long-awaited re-introduction of Millyera to Ida and the gang… in a very dramatic fashion, of course!
